Bishop Arts District, Dallas, Texas
Updated: Feb 9, 2021

If you're visiting Dallas, Texas and you're hip to the trendy things in life, I recommend that you visit the Bishop Arts District in the heart of North Oak Cliff near downtown. This district is filled with over 50 different shops, galleries, coffee shops, restaurants and bars! Most of these businesses are independently owned and operated and there is definitely an artistic vibe about town. I would say it was probably one of my favorite areas in the Dallas area! The food was great, the atmosphere, the people.... loved it!
While in the Arts District, we were able to grab delicious grilled cheese at the Dallas Grilled Cheese Co., snag some amazing BBQ at the Lockhart Smokehouse, sipped mochas at Davis Street Espresso and visited countless shops selling everything from vintage finds to locally handmade gifts. I wish we had more time there (I could spend a couple days exploring!) but it really is an awesome place to get lost for a few hours if you get the chance.
